L.A. Jennings Groundbreaking
The ceremonial groundbreaking on renovation of the L.A. Jennings Building was held on Wednesday, May 28. Anderson Partners LLC acted as legal council and obtained the tax credits and financing for the project, which will include 20 new apartment units and four restaurants.

Firehouse owners plan 2nd site
The owners of Richmond’s Firehouse BBQ & Blues plan to open a new restaurant in the revitalization project involving the historic Jennings building. The Firehouse Company 2 restaurant is expected to open in May 2015. For more information click here.
Redevelopment of Former Gary State Bank Building in Gary, Indiana
Gateway Partners plans to redevelop the 107 year old 10-story former Gary State Bank Building located at Broadway and W. 5th Avenue in Gary, Indiana. Closing on 1733 Meridian Apartments
April 18, 2012: Anderson Partners closed on equity and debt financing for 1733 Meridian Apartments in Indianapolis, Indiana. The project (renovation and restoration of the historic Spink Apartments) was funded through a loan from Merchants Bank of Indiana and the acquisition of Low Income Housing Tax Credits by Alliant Capital Ltd. Anderson Partners acted as tax credit and developer counsel, and also brokered the tax credit acquisition with Alliant Capital. Bates Development LLC and Riley Area Development Corporation were co-developers of the project, which will be completed in April 2013.
